The easiest way to get to the hotel from Nagano is to take a bus. There is a bus stop a 6 minute walk from the hotel. The bus offers limited service, please see the times below highlighted in red. Make sure you purchase a ticket to Iwatake Shinden.

Charter Taxi To Hakuba
Chuo Taxi operates all year long and isn’t limited to the winter season. A taxi will pick you up at the airport when your flight arrives and will drop you off at the front door of your accommodation in Hakuba.
Chuo Taxi is more expensive than busing, but if your flights times don’t line up with the bus this is a great option.

Train to Hakuba
Who doesn’t want to take a bullet train. Rotating seats, 300km an hour, beer and an Ekiben. The bullet train is the fastest way to get to Hakuba, it does require a couple of transfers and the confidence to plan your own trip.
Hyperdia is a great resource to plan your trip. When taking the train it’s recommended to ship your bags (Black Cat or JAL ABC will ship your bag from the airport to your hotel for 2,000yen – 3,000yen/bag).
